1. Scope
DonorRelay is a product operated by Mauthoor Consulting Inc., based in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. This policy applies to the DonorRelay website, workspace, and related services.
DonorRelay provides organizations with tools to manage WhatsApp conversations, contacts, approved knowledge, campaigns, and team access.
Organizations using DonorRelay control the customer and contact information they submit to the service. DonorRelay processes that information to provide the service on their behalf. Each organization remains responsible for its own notices, lawful basis, consent, and messaging practices.
2. Information we process
- Account information: names, email addresses, authentication records, organization membership, and assigned roles.
- WhatsApp information: phone numbers, profile names supplied by WhatsApp, message content, message identifiers, timestamps, and delivery status.
- Contact and consent information: contact details, tags, opt-in or opt-out status, consent source, and related notes.
- Workspace content: approved knowledge entries, campaign details, team activity, handoff records, and audit events.
- Technical information: service logs, error information, device or browser information, and security events needed to operate and protect the service.
3. How we use information
We process information to:
- deliver, route, and display WhatsApp messages and status updates;
- provide contact, inbox, knowledge, campaign, and team features;
- enforce organization boundaries and access permissions;
- record consent and opt-out instructions;
- prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and maintain service security;
- support users and improve the reliability of DonorRelay; and
- comply with applicable legal obligations.
DonorRelay does not sell personal information or use customer message content for third-party advertising.
4. WhatsApp and service providers
DonorRelay communicates with the WhatsApp Business Platform operated by Meta. Information sent through WhatsApp is also subject to Meta's and WhatsApp's applicable terms and privacy practices.
DonorRelay uses service providers to host and operate the product, including database, authentication, deployment, and infrastructure providers. These providers process information only as needed to perform services for DonorRelay and are subject to their own contractual and security obligations.
5. Sharing and disclosure
We may share information with the organization that controls the relevant DonorRelay workspace, authorized workspace members, service providers supporting DonorRelay, or authorities when required by law. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to protect users, the public, or the security and integrity of the service.
6. Retention and security
Information is retained for as long as needed to provide the service, meet the organization's instructions, resolve disputes, maintain security, and satisfy legal obligations. Retention periods may vary based on the type of information and the organization's settings or contractual requirements.
DonorRelay uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and requests
WhatsApp recipients may send STOP to opt out of future campaign messages. Account users and contacts may request access, correction, or deletion of their information, subject to applicable law and the instructions of the organization controlling the workspace.

8. International processing and children
DonorRelay and its providers may process information in countries other than the country where it was collected. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for cross-border processing.
DonorRelay is a business service and is not directed to children. Organizations must not use DonorRelay to collect children's information without all notices, permissions, and safeguards required by applicable law.
9. Policy updates and contact
We may update this policy as DonorRelay develops or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
